I tried putting it on my small mirror but found it slightly concave. I then tried the tile on the wall and finally the large mirror above the sink where it seemed to hold up well. But I'm very small and couldn't get close enough. I stood there wondering if there was another place I could reach. Suddenly my problem was solved as the mirror broke off and before I could grab it, it fell to the ground and shattered. If it had fallen off another surface I would have thought it my fault but the wall mirror is completely flat and I followed the instructions. I would suggest that a suction cup grip might not be the best way to secure a fragile device. Unless he's no more than a foot above the soft, plush carpet. 😉
