Review on 🐱 Purina Fancy Feast Adult Dry Cat Food: Delectable Nutrition for Your Feline Companion by Jermale Bullion

Some expensive "cheap " food that my cat will actually eat.

We adopted a Maine Coon mix that was trained from milk to wet food. After spending an insane amount of money just feeding our Maine Coon mix wet food for a year, I decided it was time for her to eat dry food like our other two cats. After some research and experimentation it turned out that she was attracted to the smell of the food so I first bought the Royal Canin Aroma Select at the amazing price of $16.99 for Β£3. After getting her to only eat kibble, I was back in search of reasonably priced cat food that would appeal to fussy cats, especially cats that are attracted to smell. Fancy Feast dry food meets these requirements. Although this cat food is more expensive than many other options, it has qualities that make it superior to many others. First, the food is small and very thin, almost flaky. I think it's great for cats who are more demanding on texture. Although the food doesn't smell, all three of my cats smelled it and started rubbing the bag as soon as it was opened. Secondly, the ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates is better than many products on the market. Finally, the food appears to be somewhat high in calories, so the daily portion of this food is smaller than many others. Although the price is two or three times higher than many other brands available, it's a lot less than the $16.99 for Β£3 I've spent in the past. We have found a winner.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Good, but not very good
