Definitely not worth the money.

Strange thing! The instructions say to use plain water but after a week there was a thin white coating on EVERYTHING, dresser, shelves, even the door! I switched to distilled water and ended up with water on the top and inside of the device. Water flowed from the hole where the cord was stuck. When the device worked, they shone fantastically.
