I weigh 148 and am 5 feet 5 inches tall. I usually wear a size 8 or 10 for most women jeans from stores like Old Navy, Catos or Levi's. I ordered the big jeans from Sangtree. They fit and are comfortable but I feel I should have ordered a size XL for fear they will shrink. I read other reviews on women of my weight and height that said a medium size fits, so I went for the large because I figured if I order a large and they shrink it will be fine . I will wash in cold water and air dry. If you have my size, take XL! The pants are absolutely cool and look just like the photo. The lace is not a real lace that can be tightened, so the price is a bit disappointing.
