While I like the thick rubber coating on this pad (definitely believe it's a mouse pad), the "material" on the top of the pad is so thin that it might not exists . It definitely doesn't absorb water. Yes, you can get out of the shower on this mat without slipping, but you have to wipe the water off the mat with a towel, otherwise it will only collect on the mat. It's a shame because my door is too low to the floor and it's almost impossible to find a rug or rug for the door to go over without snagging. I was hoping this mat would solve my problem, but it doesn't. The search continues.
