Review on KOUSI Large Cube Storage Organizer by Edgar Rowe

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tons of storage space, ideal for apartments or dorms.

I bought the white version of KOUSI Large Cube Storage - 14"x18". Kit included 14x18 side panels, 14x14 back panels, 14x14 doors, 14x18 reinforced panels, connectors, cable ties, hammer, hanger bars. , stickers and a few plastic pieces to throw away. I have four cubes by five cubes. The package came in a fairly heavy little box measuring about 8 inches by 14 inches by 18 inches. The panels are fairly strong, with a wire frame wrapped in plastic-like PVC and soldered around it. There are five panels in the middle of the panel which are reinforced with extra wire so you can attach the four hanging rods that are included without worrying about the panels sagging. Along with the unit, they sent an additional package of connectors. I snapped off one of the connectors so the extra packaging came in handy. This product comes with these little pieces of plastic that look like a capital E. Throw them away, they're useless. As for the fourth finished cube, I realized that you need to tie the wires together after using the hammer to get them whole. sits in slots. Don't wait until you've fully assembled the device to tie everything together. Using a hammer to secure the wires in the connectors creates a domino effect as the wire you hit snaps into place and the rest of the wires pop out. .It took me about an hour to tune in when I finally got the rhythm. Handling screeds most of the time. Overall this is a good concept and ideal for temporary storage. The best part is that when I don't need it anymore, I just cut the zip ties, take it apart and put it in a small bag for storage. Currently used for quilting fabrics. The floor panels sag a little, but after removing the weight (maybe 15 pounds) they rise again. Anything heavier I would suggest getting heavier zip ties as the strength isn't the best. The only thing I don't like are the doors. They're constantly hanging from the top or bottom ones, so when you open one, open two or three. It looks like the plastic wasn't tightened when soldered, so it didn't wrap tightly around the wires. Plus, it's worth the money and time to build it.
