Experienced calligrapher - They are useless because of the angle and flexibility. With
The angle of the chisel tip is steep. For western calligraphy it must be square. I ended up ordering another pen. The brush pen is very stiff and doesn't look like a brush at all, so it can't be used for oriental style writing. The quality of the marker is good. Good ink flow, good dark ink. I just wish they would consult some people in the area they sell them for. I would NOT take these for beginner calligraphers as they encourage dysfunctional hand position and excessive grip.
