I bought two of these. The baby isn't here yet, but I wanted to prepare beforehand and washed this thing, like all other things that will affect my child. I should have read the laundry questions and answers first! I put them in the washing machine (a HUGE MISTAKE). You washed up well. It was the drying part that was terrible. Aside from the fact that the velcro will come off and stick back somewhere else, leaving marks (which aren't even that bad), no matter what material the pillow filling is made of, it soaks up water like a camel and lets it out never out again. After a full cycle in the dryer, the pads were still soggy. I had to call them manually. I put them back in for another cycle and they were STILL wet. I laid them out to dry completely. Whatever you do, DO NOT put these pads in the washing machine. Hand wash only with a damp cloth and some soap.
