Used to lift a TiVo DVR onto furniture with screws for better ventilation. That stand with the added Affinity USB fan made a huge temperature difference of about $25. Looking at the local market I would pay about that price for just one stall. I like this stand because its surface is perfectly horizontal and has no tilt. Additionally, the flat, perforated steel surface is ideal for allowing airflow under the TiVo, which is a troublesome area. Placing the TiVo device on a flat wooden surface leaves very little space under the device for air to escape from the internal fan. This setup solves the problem and the extra fan is just the icing on the cake.
