There are better options

Looks good but rather flimsy and poor design. First, it's not stainless steel. It is made from stamped brass with a stainless steel finish. Brass is too thin and soft for this application. The second problem is that it is held in place with carriage bolts that fit into brackets under the plate. Screws will dangle or fall off until tightened. The worst thing about the lid is that it's stamped, leaving a gap between the bottom of the lid and the surface of the sink. If you have a tall faucet, it may wobble because there is no solid material between the faucet's flange and the nut that holds it together. We ended up using the Delta lid, a sturdy block of plastic with a thin metal lid. This provided a much larger area of contact with the top of the sink and allowed us to tighten the faucet enough to use it without hearing a cartoon Boeing with every touch.
