Review on ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Wired Headset with Astro Audio V2: Xbox Series X, S, One, PC & Mac by Steven Emberling

It's been buggy since I got it.

When everything worked, one of the best sounding headsets around. I just received them a few days ago. The headsets kept disconnecting during the call, which was annoying as it happened frequently. There is a mute button on the mic, but I didn't touch it. To "turn me on" I had to unplug and plug both ends of the cable multiple times before it worked again. If you're one of those people who move their controller a lot, I don't recommend them. On the second day I noticed that the sound is cut off in one ear or one side is louder than the other. I've heard a lot of good things about this brand. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to those expectations, especially for the price. My previous headset lasted me 4.5 years. It's been through so much and was such a great headset that cost about half the price of this one. Will probably never get a headset from the Astros. I've never had so many problems with headphones in such a short time.
