Review on Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71 215/75 R15 106Q all season by Micha Grt ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not perfect quality, there is a small defect.

Because I'm not interested in this and can't recall how the car operated with highway tires, I won't discuss how the car operated on asphalt or how much fuel it consumed. Since I only use the car for weekend drives, I am writing for people who intend to use the tires for their intended off-road application. The typical trip distance is 200–300 km, of which 20–40 km. The remainder is asphalt, bezdora. It might ride well for certain primers, but in the genuine mud of Hong Kong and the nearby areas, you have to bleed up to 0.5 Atm, and at that pressure, you run the risk of having to take your shoes off. The permeability rapidly reduces as wear decreases, and noise levels rise as a result. There are no side lugs, so it effectively won't come out of the rut; this is obvious. Like MT rubber, it's rather feeble. With only 7-9 mm of tread left after approximately 25000 km, the vehicle is already foolish to continue driving because its patency resembles that of a weak AT.

Pros
  • LT variant with reinforced sidewall, 2.5 years without punctures or repairs. While the new one is quiet and travels through the mud reasonably well.
Cons
  • On asphalt, a car's patency immediately sharpens and begins to generate noise (specifically in the mud, not on muddy primers).
