Review on 💧 Zefal 164 Water Bottle: Durable 33 oz Container for Hydration by Will Ridpath

These bottles have been gone for several years. The original design was all black. The problem with the original design, as another reviewer noted, was that the cap wasn't watertight and the bottle would often leak. This fact rendered the original completely unusable. After hearing that they were being redesigned, I decided to give them another chance. The extra 8 ounces this gives you over most other large bottles is just very attractive. totally waterproof as you can see in my photo. The reason for this is that it is not much longer than regular 25 ounce bottles. It fits perfectly and doesn't wobble. All in all, I definitely recommend clear bottles. The black bottles appear to have the original leaky caps (although this may be an outdated photo). Unless you really prefer black, stick with transparent ones. If you want black I'll call the seller and ask if the caps have been updated and when the bottles were made. If the bottles are older than 2016, buy clear ones! Hooray!
