so far I think the anode is ok, but I don't know yet. There were no installation instructions or anything like that. They sent a follow up with a video on how to do it which was pretty good but that was a week later. It would be nice to have this guide with me, or at least something that says this link to see how to do it. As a result, I now know that I skipped some steps that took me quite a bit of time, and some things don't work exactly right. For example, it was very difficult to screw in and I wasn't sure if it was screwed all the way in. Now I know I had to clean and clean the heater tank threads. Knowing this beforehand may have helped with my problems. Haven't been to the site and haven't really used the heater but I've refilled the tank and it hasn't leaked so I'm hoping it's ok and working. I think the product itself probably works, but it's too early to tell. Just include the product manual instead of sending it back a week later when you need a Revain review.
