I read negative reviews but decided to take a chance. My labrador is a very frightened dog who has undergone complex tail surgery. I figured it would be easier for them to navigate with this than a hard plastic cone. I put it on the day before the operation to get her used to it, but she was afraid of it. However, I left it on for at least an hour and she seemed to settle down a bit. It wasn't that easy to inflate, but it held air for 5 days before needing more. I also think that she is more comfortable this way and she has gotten used to it! Most importantly, it keeps her from getting her cock (as long as I keep it inflated - not hard, but full). I highly recommend it! PS - when I took it off to re-inflate I used a lint roller to remove the accumulated hair. Like new!
