The threads weren't aligned properly
They were very cute, but one of the kittens - the screw and thread weren't tight (the spine could have come loose) and my daughter was able to get around it to pull out of her ear. This went on for about an hour before he got lost in the carpet and then stepped on it. Luckily my son was wearing a boot but the shaft was bent beyond repair which is $16 down the drain due to poor threading.
