I have 3 generations of this soundbar and it is definitely better than the others. The soundbar itself has better design and build quality, and the subwoofer feels far more capable than last year's model. The remote control has also been slightly improved, albeit to a much lesser extent. The advantages are simple: value for money. You will hardly find a comparable 2.1 setup at this price. However, I would like to see some small improvements in the future. 1) User Manual. Some parts of this guide are just uninformative filler, and some features are just not documented. For example, if you surf the web long enough, you will find that this soundbar and other devices from this manufacturer can be programmed to work with a third-party remote control, but there is NO information on this procedure in the manual. 2) The subwoofer could do with a little more "oompf". I will continue to use my Samsung subwoofer but I am happy to report that it works great with this soundbar with no modifications. I suspect that's because they continue to focus on the smaller form factor, which will actually be useful for a lot of people. The included subwoofer is thin, so finding the right spot for it is much easier. 3) Remote equalizer presets (and equalizers in general) are adequate but could be better.
