Even if you rarely use the ring light, it's worth having a small hand controller to start/stop videos and take photos remotely. We had no problems pairing with the Samsung Galaxy s10. They have specific instructions for Samsung phones but we didn't need them. It worked well with standard Android instructions. The whole system looks very good. The base of the tripod has a non-slip rubber coating and it goes without saying where every detail belongs. Everything is smooth and firmly attached. It doesn't look like any part will be weakening any time soon. The AC adapter was also good because I don't have to worry about batteries or charging. I am sure that such a large and bright lamp will quickly drain the batteries. Adjusting the backlight settings is easy - choose the temperature and then the brightness using the buttons just below the ring. As you can see it can be very bright. The only complaint I have is that the system isn't able to save everything when you're not using it. If you want to keep in the boxes they came in you will have to take everything apart but still they are not soft or anything. We must find our own way of protecting the light when not in use. However, I recommend it for the quality of the product and the price.
