I received this device recently and hooked it up the same day. Attaching it to the steering wheel was easy. Be sure to use O-Clamp inserts, without which you cannot achieve a tight fit. The instructions are missing an important part of the assembly, there is a retaining/mounting plate screw that just needs to be screwed in in a specific, non-described order. I figured it out, but it's not intuitive. If you assemble the device without this locking screw, the phone clamp plate may come loose. After a test ride on the bike, the phone holder was rock solid. With the protective pad built in, my iPhone didn't even rock off the stand. Bonus points are awarded for a spot at the bottom of the stand to connect the charger to the phone. Overall I'm really impressed with this device and I don't think you can go wrong at the price. I highly recommend this product.
