Update 10/25/19: I do not recommend hanging the light where I did, on the wall next to the door frame. It lights up well but doesn't stay on because it can't see me unless I'm moving unless I'm directly in front of it. Just having 18-20 seconds to rummage through the closet isn't enough, and constantly waving your hand at him is a major annoyance. I am ordering more rechargeable LED bulbs but I am sure they will burn for at least 60 seconds and I will find a better place to hang them. They are very bright and do a good job of illuminating closets within their reach. I didn't like the lights on the side panel because they are so bright that they bother the eyes. I couldn't put them on the door frame because that would leave the bottom of the closet dark. I've hung them on the wall next to the door frame and it works well, but I have to keep waving my hand in front of them to make them stay on long enough. The change is that I used command bars so they can be moved as needed. These cabinets get little use so I assume the light will last a very long time. Then I either order another set to place horizontally or I order the round ones to see if they put out a wider light.
