I have just received a BMW 328 with a leather interior. I don't want my dog's claws to scratch the skin. I often take my dogs to dog shows, parks, and Lou's stores. The detection worked great. A little big for my car but fits. Flaps that go in from the side actually go in the wheel arch because my car is a small BMW. But if you have a medium or large car, then the side guards will fit perfectly. But if you have a car my size, just lift them under the cover and everything works great. Because it's super easy to install, just attach any headrest to it quickly and easily and you're good to go. It has holes for seat belts to provide even more stability. But by simply snapping it onto a hat, this cap stays in place. I love that it comes with a net to keep your dog from getting through the two front seats onto the armrest. One of my dogs loves this so I will need it. You can't see it in the picture, but he's a good boy and he's in the back seat. So it's a cover or protector for my seats, but also a dog hair protector and I can just shake the cover off the outside once I get it out of the car. This is a must have for dog owners and I'm very glad I found it. I got some really good reviews and I can also confirm that this is a very good cover.
