This 90w power adapter is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 1420. Then, after 6 months of use, I found my laptop saying 'plugged in but not charging'. Or the AC adapter is plugged in and the laptop doesn't recognize that it was plugged in. At this point I started moving the cable around until I found a spot where my laptop recognized that the cable was actually connected and then charged my laptop's battery. It got annoying and happened more and more often. I'm very disappointed that this power supply didn't last MUCH longer. I haven't had this problem before. I lost my last power adapter while traveling.
