Review on Apple Magic Mouse 2 Wireless, Space Gray by Wiktor Fokt ᠌

I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying.

When I purchased this mouse together with the MacBook, I deeply regret that I did not pay attention to the prior commenter's advice and suggestions. The mouse performs flawlessly in macOS, but it is a pain to use because the legs tend to stick to whatever surface it comes in contact with. As a result of this, the mouse is not positioned as precisely as we would like it to be. And utilizing Boot Camp in Windows will not function to a satisfactory degree. This will either result in working without scrolling and bluetooth on a laptop (due to the default Boot Camp drivers), or turning on bluetooth (due to rearranging the UART drivers), which will result in the mouse being seen but not connected at all. About seven times, I used Boot Camp to reconfigure Windows, and only once was I successful in connecting the mouse to the computer using bluetooth. However, this resulted in the emergence of a second issue almost immediately: approximately once every ten seconds, the mouse disconnected, and I needed to push the button to reconnect it. Even though all of these basic issues (such as the broken scroll, crooked connection, and disconnection) have been recognized for at least three years (ever since the first generation of the mouse), they still persist. As a consequence of this, I gave the mouse to my wife so that she could use it with a notebook that ran Windows (it functioned correctly on her machine thanks to the native HP bluetooth driver rather than a faulty bootcamp). I'll look for something that doesn't have bluetooth for myself (since it's not entirely sure how well bootcamp will get along with it).

Pros
  • When they open, the design, and the wow factor
Cons
  • Uncomfortable ergonomics, driver curves
