Review on Sony MHS PM5 Bloggie Camera Violet by Anson Chen ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unattractive product, unprofitable purchase.

The most important drawback is the small viewing angle, which is about 50 degrees. The second important drawback is the display is disgustingly made. During recording, the picture takes up only 1/3 of the display. The dimensions are inflated. The height could be cut by about 4 cm and the width by 1 cm. It would turn out to be a compact interesting device. And so - nonsense. Who is this model for? If for bloggers, then because of the small viewing angle it is not very successful. The camera should be placed 3 meters away from you. Since many are limited by the wall, you cannot move the camera away from you by three meters. The quality of the picture in the room at 1280x720 really turns out worse than 640x480 on a camera 3 years ago. specially compared. Conclusion - the device is unfinished, the purchase is practically money thrown to the wind. It is better to buy a regular camera for 6 tyr, even without HD resolution. It will also not work as an auto-registrar (see previous reviews).

Pros
  • - Small price (bought on March 15 complete with a memory card and a lens for 3600) - Holds a lot of battery (about an hour and a half) - Swivel lens - Integrated USB - light weight
Cons
  • - Disgustingly made display (viewing angles are very small and the display itself is disgusting) - Inflated dimensions of the device (due to the display and extra parts) - Glossy surface - Bad sound - Poor indoor picture quality
