Review on 💫 PÜR 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15: Medium to Full Coverage Foundation with Concealer & Finishing Powder - Cruelty-Free & Vegan-Friendly by Adriana Sweet

I used to be the biggest rep of pure minerals especially 4 in 1 pressed powder and gave it 5 stars for years. I've worn it all seasons for the last 3/4 years when I realized the new compact I recently ordered was different. The packaging was different but the makeup looked/appeared the same so I applied it as usual. In the first few days of wearing I noticed that after a few hours of wearing I felt oilier and shinier than usual. I have acne scars and slight discoloration which I cover up with 4-in-1 makeup using a small foundation brush .I don't use it all over my face as I don't need it and I feel like less is more when it comes to sensitive skin with day makeup. Finally, after almost a week, I came to the conclusion that the new formula should be different. It wasn't the same, and as I said, it shimmered. It used to be more matte which is what I liked about it. The biggest disappointment is that I developed cystic acne on my chin in a week of wearing the new 4-in-1 formula. You can never be 100% sure what the cause is, but my cystic acne was under control until I started using the new Pure Mineral Complex. I found that the new formula contains BISMUTH, a mineral that: A: makes makeup "more shimmery" as I've described (doesn't look good in my book) and B: can cause cystic acne and pimples. So both of the things I noticed could be related to the new 4-in-1 makeup formula. I am so frustrated that I have to look for a new concealer/foundation. Why, why did they change the formula that worked great for my skin? I didn't want to believe it but this is definitely not the product I bought it with 4 years ago. I'm thinking back to Dermablend as it has a good matte finish and doesn't affect my sensitive, pimple-prone skin.
