Review on πŸ”Œ STETION 100 Amp Manual Reset Circuit Breaker for Trolling Motors and Marine Applications – Waterproof, 12V-48VDC Power Protection for Audio System by Matt Weber

Revainrating 2 out of 5

One working, one dead.

Two 50A versions purchased. One works great, the other happened to be turned off for a while and died just over a year after purchase. The one that works is on the positive path between the solar panels and the charge controller. It conducts a maximum of 20 amps for about 6 hours a day. The other is on the positive path between the charge controller and the batteries. The bank has three lead-acid batteries 12 V 100 Ah. The circuit breaker tripped randomly during the day but never at night. The load (AC inverter) is directly connected to the batteries, therefore the load current does not flow through the switch, only the charging current. When it popped today, I couldn't snap it back into place. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I'm not happy with this device.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
