TL; DR - If you drop something, do not buy this mouse as the small transceiver is tied to your mouse and the mouse will not work without it. So, I bought this mouse a little over a month ago. And I used it all the time. The mouse was great! The folding feature was fantastic as I could just put it in my bag and go to different conference rooms while I was working. It was a great mouse as long as the receiver didn't stay in place during shipping. Also, I didn't realize it fell off, so now I'm without a mouse. Unfortunately, this happened just after the 30-day return period for items through Revain. And I contacted Microsoft. Since this type of problem is not considered a defect in their hardware, they will not let me return the mouse in exchange for a new one. Oh and I spoke to Revain, they said I could use a "universal" receiver and I took their word for it. I really had to reconsider what they were trying to sell me. :-(The "universal" receiver is bluetooth. This mouse is not bluetooth. I read on the microsoft community page that if you find a "good" excuse you might be able to get a replacement. There I don't have a transceiver, I don't know, I could think of an excuse.
