I bought this hoping to get 1.5-2 hours for my freediving as I usually spend an average of 2 hours in the water because I'm me want to turn on and forget, you don't want to fiddle with turning it on and off as it increases the chances of missing out on amazing shots. For the price and the modular design, I was won over! The boy was disappointed when I found he only had 30 minutes to overheat and was hot. I did some research and everyone had this problem. What they call the core itself overheats, so changing the batteries doesn't help (the core is $200). it's getting hot, but you can still touch it, coincidence? Contacted support, I was told this is a marriage. (Support also said I should have 80 minutes at 4k 60 fps) I decided to take one last shot and put my Go Pro next to my air conditioner. RESULTS: NO heating during recording for 1 hour and about 50% battery drain (in 4k mode at 60 fps). However, battery life is still an issue for me.
