Review on Max Cushion Women's Thorlos Lthw Hiking Crew Socks by Jason Rogness

Let's see, it's 2013. I first started climbing in 2004, that's how my love for Torlo started, so it's been 9 years . Nine years ago I bought a pack of these Coolmax Light Hikers from someone who sold irregular Thorlos on eBay. I first wore them on hikes because they were perfect for a soft ride, moisture wicking and quick drying after a river hike. I would then wear them to work out at the gym and then I would wear them any other time that I wasn't hiking or working out when I wanted to be comfortable and warm, including socks, all day around the house. I didn't have any other warm weather or hiking socks so you can imagine how worn those old socks were! So this winter they finally started getting a little hole here, a little thin there until I had 2 1/2 pairs left, just enough that it was time to reorder. (Washing more often to keep a fresh pair on hand got boring.) The ones I got in the mail are EXACTLY what I got 9 years ago - they look and feel like old friends. Admittedly I was shocked to see how much the price has gone up since 2004 but when I think of the amazing mileage for the money these 9 year old socks have gotten me I just want to say "THANK YOU TORLO !" In this day and age of cheap cheap cheap you are nothing but quality, reliability and value. I'm just sorry you had to wait 9 years before I buy from you again, but hey! I don't need you, you are so good at what you do!
