I love THORLOS socks!

These socks are great. They are comfortable and durable. The size has increased after washing. They are not pills. I've ordered (and paid more) socks from other companies that claim to be durable, but within a year another brand will develop heel holes (this rules out use in the warmer months). Order a pair of THORLOS and see for yourself.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Updates available

Amazingly soft "lightweight hiking socks "

I have used these socks for long walks in the park in combination with running shoes. They are described as "moderately" cushioning, but the socks are thicker and heavier than I expected. They are more suitable for hiking in hiking boots than for my walks in the park in sneakers. They would have served my purpose better if the socks were a little lighter.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No instructions

Soft and supportive

Feet feel pretty good after examining all day. One foot, my lucky foot, can take any sock. My bad leg is still healing from ankle fracture surgery. This leg is the estimator. The socks are worth the money. They have just enough support and don't pinch my feet. There are no traces left. Unlike many sports socks, they have a natural look. Very soft, soft insole. Ideal for hiking shoes. I like them so much that I bought more.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Women's Thick Socks

These socks are a lot thicker than I thought they would be. Based on the description of "light" hiking socks, I expected them to be thinner. I would say they are a bit thicker than regular white athletic socks. However, despite the thickness, they are very soft and comfortable. They kept my feet dry and warm without overheating them. They sit well on my shoes without pinching them (I have fairly wide feet). UPDATE: I wore them on a 4 hour hike in hot weather and paired with the Keen running…

Last Forever and Very Hygge

My first pair of these socks was bought in 2004. This is my favorite pair of socks. I wore them when I wanted extra comfort. My foot is medium width for women 9 American or 40 European. I wore them a few months ago while helping my mom paint the living room. Mom spilled drops of paint on the floor and I walked on the paint in my favorite socks. They're still great socks, but I've decided to buy a second pair. I now have a favorite but lightly soiled favorite pair of socks and a brand new…

Preferably. socks. Is always. Good for socks

I love these socks! My sock drawer is full of these now and I wanted these. They wear like iron and are soft but not bulky. I walk many kilometers every year and they protect my feet. My oldest pair is probably 3 years old or more and I'm just starting to notice the small hole in the sock. I wear size 5.5-6.5 shoes and the small size is perfect for me. It's strange to be obsessed with socks, but these socks are truly admirable! I have a pair of thicker Thorlo hiking socks but I find them bulky…

Socks sent from heaven!

I have never experienced such comfort in socks! I ordered these stunning hiking boot socks here in Afghanistan where I work. I wanted: cushioning, long lasting support, high quality, odor and moisture wicking socks and they definitely tick the box! They are so incredibly comfortable that I even wear them as slippers. I wear my boots at least 14 hours a day and these socks hold and support my feet very well all the time. Odor and moisture are kept to a minimum when wearing these socks and my…

I love these socks!

I first bought them two years ago while vacationing in Acadia National Park. Moderate hiking was on the agenda so I bought new hiking shoes these months in advance. A back injury two days before the trip put paid to the trek but I still love these socks. They warm, but do not warm the feet. They're great in winter - I wear them around the house and never feel the cold floor. They are soft, always feel a little soft when I put them on (which I love!), wash well and wear well. There is no baggy…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Incredible value for money for outerwear

Let's see, it's 2013. I first started climbing in 2004, that's how my love for Torlo started, so it's been 9 years . Nine years ago I bought a pack of these Coolmax Light Hikers from someone who sold irregular Thorlos on eBay. I first wore them on hikes because they were perfect for a soft ride, moisture wicking and quick drying after a river hike. I would then wear them to work out at the gym and then I would wear them any other time that I wasn't hiking or working out when I wanted to be…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Has issues
