Review on πŸ• Stop Your Dog from Pulling and Choking on Walks with the PetSafe Chic Gentle Leader Headcollar by Nancy Roelfsema

Instant changes! Can't recommend enough!

I have three dogs. The first one is not counted because he likes to train on a leash and walks well. My second Aussie, now 2 years old, was a nightmare. When she was a pup she took off so many collars that I didn't feel safe in anything but a harness. We've been using the easy gear for about a year, but it's incompatible with the fix for it. It's usually great, but sometimes it's worse. When we got our third Aussie who is now about 10 months old I was given a regular conga harness with front and back loops. After she was 6-7 months old we started going with the front loop to pull less. Her attention span is very short, and while she's great in one-to-one workouts or in a relaxed setting, if she sees anything remotely interesting, like a leaf, everything goes out the window. πŸ˜‚ I didn't think soft leaders were something we would wish for. I was so sure that both of my pullers would hate it and fight it all the time. After a friend demonstrated it in action with a lab puppy, I decided to finally give it a try. All the pet stores I looked at only had it in your standard black/red/blue and I wanted something a little more fun so the donuts were a no brainer haha. One is all pink and the other all purple so I like that it goes with everything we have for her. I ordered one and decided to order a second if we liked it. We only went for a few walks with both girls but it IMMEDIATELY made a difference. My more exuberant one doesn't even seem to mind much, the pup makes more of a fuss but it's still not even what I imagined. Both girls pull a little more, but only with a force of about 10% of the previous pull, and the correction occurs in seconds. I can't recommend it enough! We have already bought a second one, also in donuts. I'm really looking forward to working with them on the leash again!
