Let me start by saying that there is nothing wrong with a pair of glasses in terms of quality and functionality. They hold fluid and seem reasonably well made. In addition, the insulation is very effective. My objections are almost exclusively aesthetic in nature. These mugs are definitely unattractive to hold in your hands. The glass is too, too light and the shape and size doesn't feel very good in the hand. It feels like you're trying to hold onto a Christmas decoration more than a cup of coffee. The height is uncomfortable: it seems clearly clumsy; doesn't feel good in the hand. When it comes to drinking espresso, I'm not entirely satisfied with the conical design. Everyone knows that the sweetest part of an espresso is at the bottom, and this design really brings out that flavor effect. A stirrer is part of it, but stirring in such a conical beaker is also quite unattractive. Finally, the neck of these cups is rather narrow. They're so narrow for a 58mm portafilter that they require a little more precision with placement than I'm used to.
