I love these boots. They're comfortable! I don't remember if I had to break them in but I've taken them on hikes, worked retail with them, wore them with cute outfits and they never felt uncomfortable. The only time I couldn't wear them is when I was pregnant and my feet swolle up. Only problem is one of the zippers eventually got caught on itself and wouldn't zip. so I had to tie them when I put them on! Well the left boot. It hasn't really faded. I did get them polished once and that revived them though it wasn't that bad considering I go through whatever terrain with them. I would buy again.
