PRO: Pretty nice bell. It's well built and looks good with a nice finish that should last a long time. I had almost the same call from a Spurcycle that was about $60 and it's a lot better. The bell is loud and very useful for alerting hikers to the trails I'm riding. I had no trouble installing it on my carbon MTB handlebars. CONS: A small problem with the bell is that the hammer is far enough away from the surface of the bell that a lot of leverage is required to ring it. However, this ensures that the ringer is quiet while driving. In addition, the bell is attached by a metal strap that is tightened with an Allen key. I lost my Spurcycle bell, which had an identical bracket, in an accident and I'm a little concerned that the same thing will happen here. It would be nice to be able to add an additional attachment method like a cable tie to provide more support.
