Blocking / Unreliable / Unreliable

If this device worked correctly all the time, this would be what I was looking for. Unfortunately this is not the case. When I charge my iPhone X at night, part of the clock seems stuck and the time almost always gets stuck at 1:45. That's a problem as the device actually has to do two things: keep track of the time and charge my phone. However, this is a more serious problem because if the clock is blocked while the alarm is set, the alarm will never sound. Turning the system on and off fixes the clock, but now I do it almost every morning, which is totally unacceptable. Some people complain about the brightness of LEDs, especially since they can light up a room even when the brightness is low. In general, I like the design of this thing, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
