These are cute little charms if you don't need them as birthstones. There are 3 shades of red - a very dark red, a medium red, a light red. And I have two pink ones, not including the orange one. I bought two packs, so eight of each color. The photos show I have two sets of eight pink charms, one from each pack. I wanted to try to make something out of stones. I have a very large family so what I bought doesn't cover half of my needs but I wanted to make sure they had the right colors first. I know that no three red stones are alike and no two pink stones are alike. If you only want September, May, December, April, August, July, March (maybe January) then this will work for you. But if you are looking for stones from all months this is not for you. Since I have so many pinks I think I'll try to make something pretty in pink there isn't anything else I could use it for.
