These little charms looked adorable online but weren't that cute in person. The "gems" were dull and lifeless, not shiny at all. Some of the colors were difficult to distinguish and I had to take them outside into the sunlight to sort them out. I will definitely not be using them in my jewelry but I gave half of these to my granddaughter to use in her starter projects. Unfortunately I wouldn't buy again.

I think they are well made and very pretty. I was afraid they would look cheap but for the price they are pretty good. Only problem is I bought them to make a set of 12 wine tags but 2 pink ones are essentially the same color. I showed them to another person and they also thought they were the same. You can tell they're a little different when you know they are, but they're actually the same. Otherwise it's nice and sturdy.

I would give this a 5 except for one reason I anticipated based on other reviews: no indicator of which stone is which month. I found a site to compare them. It's really 12 months old, the colors are really correct but it's HARD to tell the two apart in low light. Almost equal. I recommend arranging them knowing there are 4 of EACH color and after identifying the obvious colors sorting the remaining ones under really good lighting. These are cute little charms if you don't need them as birthstones. There are 3 shades of red - a very dark red, a medium red, a light red. And I have two pink ones, not including the orange one.
