
Despite the low price, I found them surprisingly accurate when weighing them on an analytical balance we have at work: the nominal weight of 100 g was 100.0018 g, 50 g - 49.9985 g, two 20 g - 20.0063 g and 19.9995 g, 10 g - 10.0050 g, 5 g - 5.0035 g, two 2 g are 2 .0005 and 1.9924 g, and the weight of 1 g is 0.9926 g The values expressed in micrograms were still fairly accurate given the extremely small masses we are measuring: 500 mcg was 0.5013 g, two doses of 200 mcg were 0.1964 and 0.1982 g, 100 mcg was 0.0985 g, 50 mcg was 0.0494 g, two doses of 20 mcg were 0.0229 and 0.0225 g, and the weight of 10 mcg was 0.0105g! I compared them to expensive NIST tracked calibration weights in our lab and found no noticeable difference in accuracy. Don't touch them with bare hands - just use clean gloves or a decent pair of tweezers/tweezers and they'll serve you well. My only (very minor) complaints are that the tweezers are useless and more foam is needed on the box to keep the box's contents from shifting during transit.
