is very happy with these babies. My NUC's internal fan is dying and causing overheating seizures. It's all packaged in such a way that I didn't want to mess with it, so that's what I got. This is the ideal size to place one on each side of the NUC (with one-way airflow so one pushes air into the NUC and the other pulls air out of the NUC). A switch on the unit allows you to set the fan between two speeds, and even at max speed they're pretty quiet, at least IMO, but move enough air to keep the NUC at safe temperatures when fully loaded, and are powered by their own USB of the NUC powered ports. Highly recommended.
