Great lamp for CFLs

We rent a house with 12 foot ceilings, which sounds unusual but can feel like a cave with just a light or two on. on the. Due to the awkward location of the house, we don't get much natural light in the bedroom either, and since I'm working from home and need to see (and I could use cheerfulness), I need to at least turn on a small table lamp. . I also get depressed at night when it's too dark, which could be weird seasonal depression - who knows! I was a little hesitant to buy CLF bulbs because we have them in our kitchen and they are awful; I can hardly see what I'm cooking. While we are otherwise very energy conscious, we also run a well and incur an electricity bill for a tenant staying in a guest house (who I think is well over their limit) which takes us to a higher level. with an electric company - that means a very high electricity bill when you add it all up. It goes so far that we turn off all the lights at night except for the kitchen (an open house) and the bedroom where I usually hide. I also admit that I find wasting electricity a bit odd, even from an environmental point of view, and wanted something that could help in that sense, as well as pay my utility bills. So I gradually added things to my arsenal that help reduce consumption. good feedback. The item arrived in perfect condition and appears to be working great. The light doesn't bother my eyes (like some do to give migraines) and can be compared to the 60 watt incandescent bulb I used on my desk. Anyway the tone is similar but it gives off a little more light which I really like about my old cave. Upset! It doesn't flicker, and I didn't notice any lag when warming up either. Best of all, it doesn't even remotely resemble the sickly yellow look in the kitchen; I just wish these headlights had the same bulbs because I'd be on them in no time. It's also slightly smaller than the 60 watt incandescent bulb I used, making it ideal for small lights. Can't comment on longevity as we haven't had it long. I just ordered an 8 pack as they were at a great price. Just make sure you order the right ones if you decide to do the same here; There is another combination pack that Revain sells here that looks similar but has a daytime shade.
