For this money the group is normal. It looks great and serves its purpose. This isn't the ultimate workhorse group. Don't buy it if you're going to wear it as your main harness - in the wilderness, desert, extreme conditions, etc. However, it's fine for city, everyday WHY. If you want a really tough strap, get the Maratec. . They are thicker, sewn (not glued) and have reinforced adjustment holes. However, Maratecs mostly come in solid colors and, with the exception of the bond strap, don't have the same look and feel. So here it is. Also, after purchasing it I found in my opinion that the NATO style straps - which just means they have an extra small strap and ring (3 rings) as opposed to the two ring Zulu - are overkill. Even without this third ring, the watch will not slip.
