Review on πŸ‘Ά Johnson's Ultra-Hydrating Tear-Free Kids' Shampoo: Pro-Vitamin B5 & Proteins, Paraben-, Sulfate-, and Dye-Free Formula for Gentle, Hypoallergenic Toddler Hair Care (13.6 fl. oz) by Caleb Bennett

Great for adults too.

I wanted something that didn't contain hash chemicals and decided it had to be mild since it's made for babies. I was trying to decide between this and Honest Baby Shampoo and decided to try this one as I was intrigued by the low price. This is a wonderful, comfortable hair conditioner, creamy and gentle with good hydration. It definitely leaves hair feeling softer and more hydrated. After going a few weeks without conditioner I can feel the difference. The only thing is that it's fragrance free and toxins usually come from preservatives in fragrances, so I checked the eec dot org rating and it scores #4 (moderate) for hazardous ingredients; I only buy products in the #1-4 range. The smell almost disappears after washing it out of your hair. All in all a good choice for a basic air conditioner at an amazing price. Another reviewer mentioned alcohol as the second ingredient that worries me. First of all, however, it contains cetearyl alcohol, which is completely different from normal household alcohol. Cetearyl alcohol is considered an emollient and is used to soothe and heal dry skin. Not only is it considered safe and non-toxic for use on skin and hair, it also doesn't dry or irritate like other types of alcohol.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
