Review on ๐Ÿš— Wagan IN9886 Cool Air Car Cushion - Optimal HealthMate Product by Matthew Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No more swimming in human soup!

It's 98F with 92% humidity, no clouds, no wind and you've decided against all evidence that today is a great day to drive your 1973 Jeep topless around town to avoid traffic to enjoy lighting. These shock pads, as I like to call them, are your only escape from the heat, which would leave you in a puddle of your body's cooling secretions. I'm not saying you won't sweat, but it won't be your back, buttocks or thighs that will evaporate and stick to the seat. I was rather skeptical that the fan in them could actually move air under human weight. Unfortunately, the shock swept over my face after the first test. Obviously it just blows out ambient temperature air, but for topless riders you know how much moving air affects traffic on the road. They offer the same relief between you and the seat. If Wagan decided to produce a jacket in the same style, I would buy a jacket for each day of the week. The only thing stopping you from getting five stars here is the way they attach to the seat. It's not exactly structural. In fairness that hasn't been a problem yet, but flimsy elastic straps can't keep them in place when getting in and out without a little post-sit adjustment. It would be nice to add attachment points for heavier straps.
