You don't really have a reason to buy another hand grinder if you get this one. It'll last a really long time, i've ground as fine as turkish to as coarse as drip. pretty much any other 10 dollar hand grinder can spew out some coarse french press grind if you like coffee that way. for everything else, this grinder stays uniform and very fast. i use the little brush on the burrs when i switch coffee beans, otherwise just keep using it and coffee oils don't stay on the burrs long enough to effect the flavor.
