When empirically compared with a webcam sold by HP for the price of 2500r, the difference is enormous in all aspects, including the settings as well as the image quality. However, if you are willing to spend the extra money, the Pro Stream edition is the way to go. Oh, and if there are complaints about the settings of the webcam itself, you should probably consider switching the program that you use to configure it. This self-imposed regulation applies to each and every webcam. And of course, the lighting plays a significant role in that.
