I teach adaptive physical education to students with special needs. I have many students who have trouble catching or using traditional baseball gloves, so we use velcro mittens/flip and catch games to work on visual tracking. Over time, the balls become too fluffy and no longer stick to mittens and Velcro pads. These balls are the perfect replacement. They differ from traditional tennis balls in that they do not stick to the Velcro. These balls are slightly heavier and don't bounce. So if you think you're buying a flashy tennis ball, you're wrong. They are specially designed for items with Velcro.
