An adult or an older child should assemble it.
My 7 year old grandson loves it and builds simple marble walkways himself. He couldn't assemble it himself using the instructions. The illustrated assembly instructions were difficult to understand. I think if the photos were bigger it would be easier. So if a kid can't put it together, who is the gift really for?
