How do you rate the sponge/scraper? let's try this As you can see in the photos they are the same in every way except for the thickness. That thickness just holds more water - IMO doesn't matter. Otherwise it does not differ from this "name brand" in the photos. The brand is made out of man-made fibers - I'm assuming it's a plastic that's neither renewable nor recyclable. The reviewed ones cost $1 each, while the ones compared cost $1.89. So I think, especially if you have at least a certain environmental awareness, the purchase will not be difficult. The last, of course, is how they behave when used and for that I have to update this review as I will be using the product later. Time. So 4 stars until I see the durability. By the way, they get a lot fatter the first time they absorb water.
