No one will ever say that Bose acoustics sound bad (at least no one sober). My only concern is the price, connectivity, and battery life. Obviously I decided to pay $330 after tax for a single speaker, so I'm fine with that, although I wish it was closer to $200. Second, the Bluetooth connection was either perfect or awkward for the first week. According to the instructions, as soon as I switch it on, it connects to the last connected device. However, the problem occurs when you try to connect to another (not yet connected) device. It's like trying to convince a kid that broccoli is just as delicious as macaroni and cheese, but you're met with resistance. Finally, the battery life is advertised as "3 hours at maximum volume" and the battery icon has colored indicators that tell you if the battery is "under 30%, 30%-70%, or over 70%". For me that is a huge difference. Now maybe I'm used to the smartphone telling you EXACTLY what percentage of battery is left, with the last 2% being just as effective as if it were 100%. In general I think I expect simplicity. and perfection for the price and so far I have not received it.
