Review on Renewed Logitech MK545 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Effortless Productivity by Anastazja Adziarejka ᠌

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

Logitech's customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. It's clear that they don't value their consumers' satisfaction. It takes three to five days to get a response to a support request, first-line managers aren't always very knowledgeable or professional, and the tone of communication is similar to that found in the marketplace. In response to my plea for assistance, they forwarded a link to an English page that detailed the steps required to install LO, including the use of the command line and other technical elements over which I have no control. What they meant by "get it right"

Pros
  • Swapping between various PCs is possible (up to 3). Very little effort is required to type, and the keyboard is pleasant to use. However, the mouse has numerous issues.
Cons
  • For starters, the mouse keeps disconnecting from the computer. Restarting the computer is the only proven method of restoring communication when it has been disrupted for any reason (including power cycling the mouse, removing and reinserting the receiver from the USB port, reinstalling the program, etc.). Basically, just restart. In turn, the mouse may stop responding after only a few hours, requiring you to restart the computer three times before it will respond normally again. There are times when there are no emotional breakdowns, only pure joy. Before making a purchase, I noticed this issue being mentioned in previous reviews and hoped it would be resolved soon. Not only did it not work, but I continue to endure pain on a daily basis. The newest versions of Logitech Options software, which have the purported capacity to transfer files from computer to computer, etc., have installation issues on a number of PCs (it is not obvious which ones and what it is related with). There are over 80 reviews in the Logitech Community detailing the same issue, but neither Logitech nor technical help have any idea how to fix it. I've used Logitech Options when it was first released; it allowed me to set the buttons on my mouse.
